Considered by many (myself included) as the most notable hip hop act out of Buffalo, NY, I came across Pseudo Slang around 2005, during my college years in the ‘Lo. At that time, Pseudo Slang was signed to Fat Beats and they were touring with DJ Cutler on the wheels of steel. Today, the group features Emcee Sick and DJ Form of Chicago.
Pseudo Slang has a signature sound that draws heavily from jazz and soul and infuses clever lyricism to a hip hop beat. Today, URB Magazine is proud to premiere the group’s visual treatment of the single, “cyclical.” The track is part of a long-awaited LP entirely produced by an Upstate NY connect, Rawhead entitled Fumble For My Pen.
Now watch the video above, cop the 12″ or follow them as they set off on a European tour in a couple of days.
