Fresh off of release of Grandeur, Mello Music Group and Apollo Brown are kicking off a remix contest to see who can best drop 16 bars on the instrumental for “Checkered Flag.” The original track features Ugly Heroes members Red Pill and Verbal Kent but who knows, maybe Apollo will start a new group if a convincing winner arises.
Submissions can be sent via mp3 to mailto:info@mellomusicgroup.com with the subject line “Apollo Brown Remix Entry.” The instrumental is available by clicking through the Bandcamp player above or clicking here. The deadline for entries is October 21st, 2015 and the winner will be included in a brand new Apollo Brown remix alongside Ugly Heroes. The remix will be released as a promotional song by Apollo Brown via Mello Music Group for free download.
