The URB archive is perhaps the most significant library of cultural and music content from the 1990s- mid-2000s. Covering the underground hip-hop and electronic music scenes in America from the magazine’s launch in 1990, the archive has thousands of professional color images reflecting this vibrant movement.

The vast majority of the archive has never been published online. URB.com will be a home for the archive as we unearth the material.

The archive materials range from transparencies and slides, to photographic prints and negatives. A large portion has been digitized to varying degrees. Most of it in pristine archive condition.
